Research confirms that mandated Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) checklists cannot, have not, and will not create nor sustain the positive cultural shifts we desire. People are generally not motivated when forced to "get with the program" and then shamed or punished if they don't. In it's current form, most DEI trainings offer a superficial learning experience that is rarely sustainable.
