Jamilah Sabir-CallowayJamilah Sabir-Calloway has pursued her passion and vision to inspire personal joy, healing and positive social change for the planet as a personal coach, writer and photographer. She is a motivational speaker and workshop facilitator focusing on the empowerment of women, stress management, diversity training and coping with change. She served as president of the Rites of Passage Youth Empowerment Foundation for several decades and has co-facilitated workshops nationwide including co-sponsoring workshops for the African American Women on Tour Rites Program. She has been certified as an Energy Healer by Discovering Wellness LLC School of Natural Health and has worked in a background support position with Iyanla Vanzant and attended Innervisions Institute for Spiritual Development. Jamilah has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Creating sacred space and working with the divine feminine energy is Jamilah’s gift. She is an effective empath, reader of souls.
In addition, Jamilah has over 20 years of extensive research and administrative management experience in various business arenas including state legislature, pharmaceutical, and global finance industries. She is a former executive administrator for GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceutical company. Jamilah served as Research and Legislative Assistant to several State Representatives in the North Carolina General Assembly and was Committee Clerk for several standing committees of the NC House of Representatives. Her broad professional experience in the Financial Industry includes the position of Vice President, Corporate Secretary of the investment firm New Africa Advisers (a Sloan Financial Group company), specializing both private equity and traded African securities. She also served as Compliance Officer and Portfolio Accountant. |
