What Is Woke Work?
"Our ‘woke’ work is Heart Work. Our task is to compassionately deal with the parts of us that we hide behind with masks. Our job is to identify those places within us that divide people into boxes, sorting and ascribing value to them as if they were coins. Our work is to uncover our personal stuck points, trauma, and emotional triggers then lovingly address them. We must work to understand our stories, unconscious biases, and our implicit associations then work to change our own mindsets. Ultimately it is our work because we are the keepers of our own souls. When we do our healing work, the results can then be magnified a thousand times because we then pour all of that new information into the Collective Consciousness." ~ excerpt from, "What Color Is Your Soul?"
Why We Exist |
Many people are searching for a new direction in life or to deepen their spiritual journeys. People come to find new paths to loving themselves and one another, with a desire to be fully alive in their relationships, families and community at large. Some come to heal old wounds that they have carried for too long and now want to lay down. Others arrive here because they need to grieve their losses and know joy once again.

Ultimately, Woke Work offers a place where you can know yourself as whole, complete and lovable - an embodied, emotional, spiritually awake being. We celebrate the body's wisdom and its gifts. You can learn to unblock the stuck places and open your heart once again. The "Work" takes place sometimes within a circle of people, supported by intentional heart and soul directed attention, where you can experience a focused time for your own individual work and awakening.
We offer processes that are designed to specifically address our cultural differences, our individual and collective cellular memories, and that provide tools to help participants gain a foothold in their struggles to understand the ways that racism, unconscious bias, privilege, and prejudice operate in their minds. We know that you can’t heal people, nor can you force enlightenment. But what we can do is set up the conditions where people can safely do their inner transformational work. This is what Woke Work makes available; a dualistic work that accesses both our human and spiritual consciousness.
